Arthritis or another hand disability - even missing fingers, makes simple tasks like eating, writing, or grooming very difficult! The Arthwriter® Hand Aid will enable you to comfortably maintain these abilities and perform many other daily activities.
The lightweight Arthwriter® Hand Aid grips a pen, pencil, razor, toothbrush, or eating utensil securely by inserting its’ handle into the hole and tighten the thumb-screws. It can also be used on many control sticks on motorized wheelchairs.
The Arthwriter® is three inches in diameter and has a 3/4" hole through the center to insert your pens, pencils, toothbrushes, etc. One end is flat to prevent rolling. A large thumbscrew on the side clamps the pencil, razor, etc., in place.
